School's Out!!

Our last day of school was, I don't even know why we had it, it was so boring! We only played bingo and cherades for three hours. our day before we had our end of the year party we could watch How to Eat Fried Worms and Happy Feet. In the other room we had two Playstations and two X-Boxes. Every body was hogging them so I ended up playing twister and eating alot of snacks.
Lately we have been wathing alot of Numbers. It is totally awesome, wicked, amazing. My favorite part is when the FBI goes 3... 2... 1 execute! execute! We've been watching it for two days and we are already on the third season.

It is amazing to me that Jacob's blogs sound just like he talks, he races. I'm happy for you that school is out and happy for us that you will be here to visit soon.

XBOX in China?! That's just wrong! I didn't know they had things that were actually made in china - I thought the U.S. owned everthing made in China! Do they have all the sound affects in Chinese? That would be weird. We watch a show on "G4" cable channel called "Ninja Warrior" that is subtitled because it's in chinese, japanese, something-else-ese and it is very funny to listen to when they get really excited. The show is a competition of physical and mental strength and they make them do these outragous obstacle courses with three levels.
Love reading the blog, glad you are free to enjoy your time off from brain work. But remember, God didn't put that brain in your head just to make it round!Don't forget to use it on occasion!
Take care Jacob. Elise - hows that flute playing? TOOT TOOT!

It's amazing how the old words come back around in new generations. When I was your age, New Kids on the Block always used the word "wicked". They also said "Hey Homey" which I haven't heard in quite awhile. Maybe there is hope for me that my favorites will come back. I always really liked "fly", "ill" and "word". "Word" works really well as a greeting on the phone. Scott and I also like to say to each other "Where you at, Dog?" I know we sound silly at our age, but it makes me laugh.

So, how did you do at charades? I have always really stunk at charades. I'm better at games like Taboo where I can talk. I must speak! I don't know how I'd do with the Playstation and XBox, but we've been playing Scott's Wii a lot lately. Can you rent or buy games there? He rented Mario Party 8, which is more my speed. I even win sometimes. Scott gets angry when I sabotage him right at the end of the game so that I win. He needs to work on his competitive issues.

It was really nice to here from you, see you soon!!

Good to hear from you "out of schoolers"..... now maybe we'll have more often updates from China.
Thanks for writing.
Some of those games you are playing sound quite fun!
Grandma made it through her surgery on her foot and I'm just hanging out on the couch this afternoon watching Aunt Wen do my cleaning. This I am not used to doing. I have to wear this weird looking boot/ sandle for three weeks so you will be fortunate to see my stylish attire when you come home. Can't imagine not being able to drive for three weeks.
Anyway, thanks for writing and we're looking forward to seeing you soon.
Love all of you,
Grandma R

On the teacher's side of this whole thing, NOAH, there isn't any kids that want to learn anything on that last day. :-)

Anyway, were the snacks fried worms??? Just how do you eat fried worms???!!! Yuko stucko!!! It sounds like your teacher had a cool sense of humor!

You noted that I just now pulled up your blog so I had the advantage of knowing you were NOAH and not JACOB! That was really a compliment to you. Jacob is older so you must have sounded like a more mature young man!

Have a great day!
