Today was a really great day. We went to JinMao tower today. It takes you up 340 meters in 45 seconds to an amazing view of Shanghai. While we were there they took our tickets and then opened an oyster for a free pearl for each of us. They had some really cool necklaces but I didn't buy any. So, we just have six pearls and maybe I will do something with thems someday. From there we went to lunch at Taco Bell Grande. It just seems kind of funny seeing Chinese people wearing Sombrero's and saying "adios". From there we were on a mission to find one of the seven Mr. Donut's in the city. It took forever because of traffice. But we found it and I think we bought two dozen donuts. The kids were craving real donuts. I guess we went to the knock off market before lunch and Mr. Donuts. That was quite a trip. They were selling the new Harry Potter movie (yes the one that hasn't even been out in theaters yet) so we thought for $.60 ish cents we just had to buy it. Well we got it home and it was "Bibi Blocksberg" whoever she is. So we had a good laugh over that. Mark had actually bought 9 movies total and only four of them were good. A few of them were in Russian and a couple were in Chinese. The whole movie industry here just cracks us up. Elise and I got new coach and prada purses from our favorite purse lady Lisa. Because we are "friends" she gave us a good deal. We went to a really cool mall after that and then we went back to the apartment to try out all of our new movies. My awesome Homey friends sent me beautiful flowers for my birthday and they finally came tonight. We then went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant at 9:00. We find ourselves eating dinner very late. It is very easy to slip into their culture when it comes to time. The kids seemed to enjoy it for the most part and agreed with their mom that the Shanghai noodles are pretty amazing.
While we were at our apartment tonight we put all of our air shipment away and way in the bottom of a bag that I thought only had clothes in it was my Mary Kay make up. I was so happy! Mark says I should feel bad that I don't trust our little Chinese friends!
Hope everyone has a great Easter! Grandpa and Grandma the kids loved their candy and say "Thanks".
It's off to bed for now...

So...you should trust the little Chinese now..eh!! I am so glad you found your Mary Kay! I bet that was like the lady in the Bible who swept her house looking for the one silver coin and threw a party when she found it! At least I would anyway!
I want a Prada purse! You will have to introduce me to "Lisa" when we come and visit! I am sure I will have to bring tons of money with me in order to buy all the stuff I want to buy!
Sounds like you guys are doing great! Love to all~Deb
Your mom is awesome when it comes to sending packages to her grandchildren and her kids. She is a great lady but I don't have to tell any of you that!!! Have a great day in the Lord!!
Aunt Carol
I was in WI for our birthdays. It was cold and yucky outside, but we were warm and happy at the indoor water parks.
My sister met us there, which was as good a gift as I could have wanted. The $50 and a day at Pages in Time doesn't hurt either.
In church on Sunday (Easter) Rob was talking about how he can't prove the Resurrection, he can only point to it. He pointed to the Resurrection that Jesus has done in so many people's lives. You, point to the Resurrection with your story. Thanks for being a blessing.
