Oh where is my furniture, oh where is my furniture, oh where oh where oh whereeee..... is my furniture!

I thought I would add a new twist to an old veggie tale song! If nothing else it put a song in my heart and a smile on my face. I am trying to keep a positive outlook. We indeed know that our furniture is here in Chinese customs. However, they informed us yesterday that it would be another 7-9 business days before we could have it. Yes, we are looking at the middle to end of next week. I know I shouldn't be grumbly but I really miss my perfect pillow and cooking my own food. I never thought that I would say that, but I really miss preparing a meal for my family. It looks like when it is all said and done, we will have been in a hotel for 2 months. I'm pretty sure that God is refining me, but I'm not sure for what:)
Today, Mark went up to the plant for the first time. He has a bunch of stuff to do and meetings to attend, so he won't be back until Thursday night.
Jacob started basketball yesterday. We'll soon see how that all unfolds.
Elise got her butt kicked with homework last night. We knew it was coming.
Noah and Levi seem to really like their school. This morning they commented on how they can't get used to how light their backpacks are. They don't seem to use many text books here. I think they can keep their material more up to date by doing things the way they do.
Until later....

Thanks for the cheery song. You really do have a good outlook. I bet we can pray that you get your furniture earlier than expected! That would be cool, huh? I think I'll put that song with a new twist as well... oh where is my carpet?.... I hope the guy calls soon. We are in limbo here as well. The living room is a weird place. Right now I have a bed sheet taped to my front window. You know how I think folks are lined up to look in at me. Just call me Marlene! Love you, Mom!!!
And at least I have my "perfect pillow" to sleep on. I hope yours comes soon. Love ya,
Beth

I would believe that you are anxious to cook a good meal instead of eating whatever. When we were first married and in the trailer I only had an electric skillet to cook in for a short time but I found all kinds of meals you could do with just an electric skillet. Eating in restaurants gets old quickly. I'm really thrilled that the kids are adjusting so quickly and that school seems to be going so well!!

Have a great day in the Lord!!

Hello little sister,
I have been enjoying your updates and glad to hear how God is working things out for the family. He always does! I will pray that your furniture arrives early as well. I am smiling as I think of you missing cooking. You are a good cook but I know with a large family it gets to be a chore sometimes and now it will be a pleasure for you; at least for a while. I'm sure you are thinking of a family favorite to prepare first.

Things are well with our family. Everyone was over for Easter after church. Tyrus and Helena keep us all hopping as they are very mobile now and curious about everything.

Oh, I do need your snail mail address. How long does it usually take for mail to arrive? I don't mind email, but I love to communicate with the written word. I'm old fashioned I guess.

I'll talk to you again soon, love you much, Colleen

Hey Nats!

It is interesteing that I had just started praying for you guys that your furniture would arrive soon so you could get settled in your apartment. Then you posted this blog that you don't know where it is....God works in wonderous ways! He has a plan. Not sure what it could be, but He does!

Sounds like you guys are all adjusting well. Hopefully it goes well with Mark gone this week.
We love you guys!

Well..just so you can truly appreciate what you left behind, we are getting up to 7 inches of snow RIGHT NOW AS WE SPEAK! I though you would appreciate that. JAM was cancelled at church, it's that bad (not really, but definitely out of season!)

Have a great bowl of rice...again!
Love you,
Karen Welser
